Guest Editor Series: Maggie Rizer's Good Jeans

A 90's darling who came up during grunge, super model Maggie Rizer (@MaggieRizer) has always been a natural for jeans. She told us, "Jeans have always been a staple for me. You can dress them up with a great heel and good blouse. Or not—just a tee-shirt or tank top."

As our first Guest Editor, the fashion insider and All-American girl shares her favorite pairs and how she wears them. Her general rule is to keep it simple – or in her own words, "In jeans, you look cool and casual. Not overdoing it."

"For lunch in the city, I pair these dark skinny super long Stella McCartney's (my favorite pair right now) with a Matthew Williamson blouse (I love his prints), a Rick Owens leather jacket and with Saint Laurent Chelsea boots."

"I would love to wear these with these Tom Ford jeans with this off the shoulder Chloe blouse (I love everything Chloe these days)."

"I loved this whole Gucci collection. The jeans were so thin and gorgeous. Gucci has always had great jeans. When I did the shows, I would always go shopping in Milan. I still have two Gucci pairs from over a decade ago which I cannot bring myself to get rid of!"

"I guess I have always gone in search of a good jean! Gap has good typical jeans. They are very standard, and fit really well."

"I love Frame. The fit is amazing, the cut is super flattering and the denim is gorgeous."

"I've been pregnant enough to have done a lot of research on maternity jeans and I have to say, JCrew makes some of the very best! I hate the whole huge elastic waistband maternity jeans and prefer the nice side elastic ones, I think it makes you feel slightly less unfashionable, slightly."
